The Destination

The Niseko region of Hokkaido – the most northern of Japan’s four main islands – is world-renowned for its powder snow.

But come spring, as the snow gives way to a verdant green landscape, Niseko is also a world-class golf destination.

Located on the western side of Hokkaido, 110 kilometres south-west of Sapporo, the region is dominated by the twin peaks of 1898-metre Mt Yotei and 1308-metre Mt Annupuri.

Also known as Ezo Fuji (Hokkaido’s Mt Fuji) because of its resemblance to famous Mt Fuji on the island of Honshu, Yotei regularly comes into view on the eight participating courses in the Yotei Golf group.
